Ed's new book is finished!
It is entitled, "A Practice Guide for the Contemporary

Can you believe I started this over 15 years ago back in my
college days at Cal State Long Beach?
Ed has been working with a Long
Beach based band named "Big Box of Men", with Ed playing sax
and keyboards! He continues to freelance and play with
the likes of Big Band 2000, Big Noyz, Untamed World, Electric
Mayhem, Blues Racket.
Ed continues to teach the jazz
ensemble at Irvine Valley College, where he developed the very
first jazz program in the fall of 1999. The college just
premiered the brand new IVC Performing Arts Center in October
2007, and the IVC jazz ensemble gave their debut with trombonist Bob McChesney
on Sunday, Dec 2nd, 2007.
Ed's band, "Express" has now been renamed "Soul FX", and they
have been busy rehearsing for a possible recording project in
2008.
