UnTamed World® is a hot 9-piece classic rock/R&B band, which performs classic dance tunes from the 60s to the 90s, including the music of Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, Earth Wind & Fire, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Kool and the Gang, Blues Brothers, Stevie Wonder, the Commodores, the Eagles, Steppenwolf, Wilson Pickett, Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Gloria Estefan, and many others. We can cover most any style of music from the 40s to the present, including big band jazz (Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman). We are a 9-piece musical group consisting of 4 live horn players (trumpet, 2 saxes, trombone), a hot rhythm section (keyboard, guitar, bass, drums) who all can sing lead and background vocals, and a sensational female vocalist.

Originally formed in 1969 as Goodness and Mercy, and known from 1978 to 1996 as Vertigo, Untamed World® has now been entertaining audiences for over 30 years!

We have tons of experience performing for wedding receptions, private parties, corporate events, dances, church festivals, class reunions and many other special occasions. Untamed World® consists of world-class musicians who are real crowd-pleasers and put out a high-energy show for your dancing and listening pleasure. In 1995, Untamed World® was selected out of 450 bands to perform as the headlining act for the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona. Members of UTW have performed throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Guam, and Portugal, and also have performed on several studio recordings in the Southern California area.
